ŒThey¹ve got all the necessary ingredients to make itŠ all that¹s left is a matter of time.¹  Metrojolt

ŒThey craft the kind of song-oriented house music that calls to mind the collagist house of Caribou, the pale soul of The xx and Friendly Fires at their most club obsessed¹  Electronic Beats

2014 is just beginning to show its musical colours, and a lot of talk is beginning to show as to who will be one of this year¹s biggest new acts. But with house and techno still proving a dominant force in the electronic landscape, it¹s no surprise that most people are tipping production duofranskild as the ones to watch. franskild are clearly wasting no time to put their stamp on year with their latest single Clockworks ready for release Feb 14th 2014 through Sweat It Out! Records.

As a pair of Swedes currently working out of Denmark, franskild have been slowly edging their sound into the backs of people¹s minds for the last year through their support by BBC Introducing. Their previous EP ŒEden¹ was described as ³melancholic, dreamlike house music² by Mixmagand earned the pair the chance to remix Maya Jane Coles¹ ŒBurning Bright¹ from her latest album ŒComfort¹, as well as reworking DEVolution¹s ŒWith U¹ on and Style Of Eye ŒKids¹.

A original mix delivers pulsating rhythms and a soft vocal performance from Love¹s sister, Rebekka Ojensa, have given this track a more tranquil and whimsical side to house music that has rarely been heard in the commercial scene. On the flip side the remix package delivers mixes from Ed Banger resident Riton, fellow rising star Silversix and Juan Du Sol, aka Jon from Aussie newcomers Rufus.

Franskild¹s next UK show will take place at The Sebright Arms, London on the 27th February withLive Nation, and they are confirmed to play Sonar 2014 on Feb 14th in Stockholm.
